Stress Management in Work from home employees


Working from home has several advantages: no dress code, no in-person supervision, no commuting time, and the ability to choose where employee want to work. There are, nevertheless, a number of special difficulties that arise when working remotely (Irawanto et al., 2021).

Working from home can be stressful for some people, especially as the novelty wears off and the obstacles become more evident. Even if these strains aren't as severe as long commutes or the sense of always being alone, they can nonetheless have a negative impact (Dewe and O’Driscoll, 2002).

Causes for stress at work from home

Below mention causes can identified to raise the stress when work from home.

    v Make many distractions:  work from home lead to make many distractions than working in an office. For can example here can identified maintaining children or other family members activities, watching TV, voice distractions etc.

     v When work from home leads to make unstructured activities and had to work in mind night as well (Irawanto et al., 2021).

     v  There are no boundaries. Organizations know that employees are working from home. Thus, they take advantage from it.  

     v There are no physical activities and those can cause to make    health problems.

Stress Management Strategy

To manage the stress at work from home use below mentioned strategies effectively,

v  Taking a break from employee workday may seem like a contradiction in terms. Recharging one's batteries and refocusing one's attention are essential components of a truly relaxing experience (Galanti et al., 2021).  
             
v  At this moment, focusing on the positive is a great strategy to deal with the stress of working from home.                                                                                                                                                                            
v   This is a great moment to attempt to focus on the positive aspects of working from home.

v  Employees can also set aside time for a cup of coffee or lunch. Keep in mind that employee will not be able to do everything employee set out to do in a single day. Employee won't have any trouble unplugging for the day if employee do this (Galanti et al., 2021).

v  Time spent weeding through clutter can quickly eat away at employee productivity and cause employee to feel overwhelmed. Being well-organized is essential to maximizing employee productivity and time management (Haus et al., 2016).

Conclusion

The summary here discussed about work from home and stress management based on it. As per the review, this included how work from home leads to make employees stress and how avoid it via strategic management as shows in the above.

  8. When working from home, you may get less exercise than at the office. Lack of exercise can affect your sleep quality and overall mental health. If you are less active during the day, you may not be as tired at night. You may have trouble sleeping and your labor may be affected the next day.good article...Thanks for sharing.

Major issues are remote workers may experience isolation and lack of physical activities may cause health issues.   28. I do not support full work from from home. It should be combination of home office and office. Office is in structural form. If always education is possible from home then no body go to school. School education have a structure what is absent in home.
    Stress is every where but more stress is bad. When a person always work from home he become isolated and can feel stressed. In office he can feel less stress since they can work as a team.
