Remote Work Model as HRM Trend: Pros and Cons

Current situation in the world is referring more to the remote working applications and it is recorded that the remote working models are highly used in the work places as the HRM trends (Flores, 2019). Human mobility limitations due to COVID 19 pandemic is the main factor and the reason for these applications. Remote working is the employees are hired by the companies and working in the remote or out of the traditional environments (Al-Rfou, 2021)

It is very important to identify the remote working applications in the working places to have the clear idea on the possible models and applications respective to each working place (Franken et al., 2021)

Remote working is also called as WFH (Work from Home) or telecomputing which gives flexible working environments!!!

There are different remote working models in HRM which can be recorded as important as per the work.

Each of the model can be applied in the different applications and situations as per the needs and wants of the organization. Application of the Smart Phones, Computers, email accounts, fax machines and printer are some of the needed factors in the remote working conditions (Stone et al., 2018).

There are benefits and the disadvantages of the remote working models which need the understanding (Rottmann, 2021).

Along with these applications, there are many advantages and the disadvantages of the remote working and the clear applications in the relevant organizations is a timely need (Al-Rfou, 2021). As there are no geographical bound for the employees, higher interest can be seen among the employees to work in remote working models. Still, in order to reduce the distractions and the disadvantages, the best method can be the hybrid method as it is causing successful returns (Stone et al., 2018; Rottmann 2021).

I agreed with your topic and regarding the disadvantages As you mentioned decreasing of visibility of the employee, most employees are using technology such as network connection to do their work from home. in this case, they can skip their duties saying not proper internet connection or bad weather, etc. So management can't blame employees whether what they said is true or false. Ultimately The result of its efficiency is will be a decrease in employees and an effect on the organization's productivity.
